2014 Talent Shortage Survey

Whilst 54% of those who face talent shortages say it has a medium to high impact on their ability to meet client needs, more than one in five employers globally are still not pursuing strategies to solve the problem.

The global recession, and tepid economy recover that followed, led to an oversupply of labour; whilst rapidly changing technology and business dynamics is exacerbating the undersupply of talent. On top of this, companies are still expected to do more with less, so require their workforces to be more innovative and productive.
