At ManpowerGroup we are proud to be a Disability Confident Leader. Disability Confident is a government scheme and it is designed to support organisations play a leading role in changing attitudes for the better, by providing a framework that challenges perceptions about disabilities and helps organisations build programmes to support a greater number of disabled people into work.

Disability Confident Leader

In 2018, we were recognised as a Disability Confident Leader for our commitment to helping those with disabilities into employment. Level 3 Leader status is an external validation of our commitment to supporting those with disabilities to obtain and retain meaningful employment.

The scheme helps employers recruit and keep great people by:

  • Drawing from the widest possible pool of talent
  • Securing high-quality staff who are skilled, loyal and hard working
  • Improving employee morale and commitment by fostering a culture of inclusivity

As an organisation, we want to meet the recommended core standards for a healthy workplace as set out for all employers in the government’s Thriving at Work Report. We recognise creating cultural changes in an organisation is a complex task that requires a multi-tiered approach, which is why we have trained over 50 Mental Health First Aiders within our organisation to make a positive difference to our workforce.

We have worked with Jaguar Land Rover and Enable, a charity which works to make job opportunities more accessible for people with disabilities. Find out more about our work with Jaguar Land Rover.
