Through Movement to Work, ManpowerGroup has helped young jobseekers acquire the skills and confidence they need to secure rewarding employment.

The programme has been developed as part of the wider Movement To Work voluntary initiative to support 100,000 young people into rewarding work. Other supporters include BT, M&S and Unilever.

As well as equipping the trainees with practical work experience within our offices, through Movement to Work we provide workshops covering job preparation exercises such as CV writing, interview preparation, and how to use social media for work.

The programme got off to a flying start when six of the eight young people from the first intake found work by the end of the four weeks. These achievements were celebrated in a graduation ceremony attended by the Mayor of Hillingdon.

ManpowerGroup is now undertaking Movement to Work programmes, with the support of Jobcentre Plus, at several other locations across the UK, with the aim of helping at least 60 young people this year.
