We know that apprenticeships are an excellent way to develop the skills your business needs. It’s about future-proofing your organisation; investing in talent, so that they develop the skills and experience needed to become your managers of tomorrow.

At ManpowerGroup, we’re proud to support this initiative in both our head office and across our business, with two apprenticeship programmes in place and over 40 apprentices working for us.

The 5% ClubWe’re also members of The 5% Club a grouping of like-minded employers, including QinetiQ, Babcock International, CBI and KPMG, who recognise the importance of young people in the workplace and who have a goal of at least 5% of their workforce being an apprentice or on a graduate scheme. At ManpowerGroup, we’re close to achieving this goal and encourage other employers – irrespective of their size – to find out more about the Club and to make a similar commitment.

Not only this, but as an authorised Apprenticeship Training Agency (ATA), we’re directly employing thousands of apprentices who work for our clients – in industries ranging from automotive to customer service; and from business administration, to digital media. We collaborate with our clients to understand their business objectives, and then design a recruitment solution that meets their needs; whether that means recruiting an apprentice on a one-off basis, or as part of implementing a wider workforce strategy.

Apprenticeships have changed. They’re in almost every single type of business you could think of. And for employers looking to nurture talent, they couldn’t be more important.
